What happens on Results Day?

Results will be available to collect during the times shown above. Staff will be available throughout the morning to answer any questions, explain grade boundaries, and provide advice and guidance on your next steps.

If a student is unable to collect their results in person, they may nominate someone else to do so by completing the authorisation form below. The form must be signed by the student and returned to the school either by email to exams@reephamhigh.org.uk or by handing it in at the High School Reception before Thursday 15th July. Students must specify the name of the person collecting their results, even if this is an immediate family member. The nominated person will be required to present photographic identification when collecting the results. Please note that authorisation cannot be given over the phone, and results will not be issued by telephone under any circumstances.

Any results that are not collected on the day will be posted to the student's home address that afternoon.

Full details regarding arrangements for the collection of Examination Certificates will be sent to parents and students for both school and college nearer the time, typically this takes place for High School students in November and College students early January.  

Education Record App - Year 11 GCSE Students only

From 11am, students will also be able to access their results via the new Education Record app. The app will include an option for students to securely share their results with their chosen next education provider, where required.

Post-Results Services

Teaching staff are not available to review exam papers during the summer holidays. If you wish to discuss your child's results or request a teacher to look at an exam paper, you will be able to do so once staff return to school on 1st September.

Please note: Marks awarded following an exam paper review rarely change. Where they do, the adjustment is typically only 1–2 marks, and there is no guarantee that the mark will increase, it could remain the same or decrease.

There is a charge for each individual paper that is submitted for review, not for the qualification or exam as a whole. If a subject consists of multiple papers, a separate fee applies to each paper you choose to have reviewed.

As a result, it is generally only worth requesting a review if your overall mark is close to the next grade boundary. You can check how close you are to the next grade boundary using the information provided below. If you are not near a grade boundary, please carefully consider whether a review is likely to be worthwhile before submitting a request.

Please also refer to the attached subject-specific advice to help determine which paper, if any, would be the most appropriate to request for review.

If you wish to submit a request to access a copy of your scripts or, request a review of marking, please complete the form below and send to Mrs Ambrose, exams@reephamhigh.org.uk. The request must come from a student's school email address.
