How our Trust is organised
Our Trust in governed by Members, Directors and Governors of Local Governing Boards.
Members of Synergy Trust are accountable to the Department for Education for the standards in each of our schools. They appoint Directors, sign off financial statements and can change the Trust’s Articles of Association.

In turn, the Members appoint a Board of Directors to ensure the effective running of the Trust and the provision of high quality education in all schools. Directors also oversee the management of finances and property, and ensure compliance with charity and company law.

Interim Chief Executive Officer
Alastair Ogle is the Interim CEO and Accounting Officer of the Trust. His role is to work with Trustees and Headteachers to ensure that an excellent quality of education is provided in every school, and that resources are deployed most effectively.
